HAVERFORD BASEBALL CAMP OFFERS INSTRUCTION FOR AREA YOUTHS

Haverford, Pa. – Haverford Baseball Camp will hold two weekly sessions of skills instruction for area youths at Haverford College this summer.

Boys and girls, ages 7 to 12, are invited to attend either one or both sessions of the baseball camp from Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 11 and/or Monday, July 14 through Friday, July 18. The camp runs each day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and tuition for each participant is $215 per week.

Haverford Baseball Camp is committed to providing top-quality baseball instruction, in accordance with the very best training methods in a fun and safe atmosphere. The staff is comprised of local college and high school coaches and college players who are dedicated to fostering a love for the game of baseball through personalized and interactive teaching.

The camp’s director, Dave Beccaria, is the head baseball coach at Haverford College. Beccaria, who served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Johns Hopkins University, before joining Haverford’s staff in 1998, also spent time in Switzerland as the head coach of the Aarau Hawks of the Swiss National League.
